Selfoss
Village, southwestern Iceland, 30 miles (48 km) east-southeast of Reykjav�k. It lies on the �lfus� River, about 5 miles (8 km) from the Atlantic Ocean. An agricultural market and dairying centre on the western edge of the country's most extensive agricultural region, it supplies most of the milk for the capital. Selfoss is also a popular resort. Pop. (1992 est.) 3,977.
